Graffitis in Honduras are similar to the examples of graffitis in Egypt and North Africa. In those countries people try to express the problems they have through the art and they also try to find a way to generate a social consciousness.
What many people don't know is that graffitis express underlying social and political messages. Graffitis are surrounded by Controversies, but I think that we should try to learn more about this culture before judging someone.
Hi Diana, I agree with the idea that graffiti paintings can generate social consciousness. When it is art, with adequate arguments, a nice design and strategic location selection, people notice it and then they catch the idea. It does not mean that everybody is going to agree, but definitely it is a way to convince some people to have adequate behavior and social habits.
ResponderEliminarI agree with you in the aspect that people should learn and get more information before judging others because not every people who practice spray paint is a criminal or a bad person and sometimes they are just trying to get benefits to society by their message’s release.
